Bicycle: Pedals won’t move when I try to cycle forwards?
hI,
I have set up a new folding bicycle.
However the pedals won’t move when I try to cycle forwards?
Do you know what I have done wrong. The pedals move when I want to go backwards.

Thanks Bob A they do move when I lift the rear of the bike.
I haven’t been on a bicycle before.
How would I start cycling first-off when the bike is stationary if I can’t start pedalling straight away?

Make sure you are in a low gear. Pick up the rear of the bike and try moving the pedals. The pedals need to be moving in order to change gears.
